logo freigestelltREBOGRIP is an additive to improve the (wet/ice/oil) slip resistance and rubber-touch of TPU-soling materials.

Due to excellent mechanical properties, TPU is the material of choice for soling application, however low slip resistance and shiny surface are the limitation factors to apply TPU in a broader range. 

Solace-Chem is providing worldwide the REBOGRIP to tackle those issues to apply TPU as high performance soling material. The REBOGRIP can be mixed manually during the injection or via extruder with TPU easily and the final product is usually a transparent/translucence sole.

Another advantage of REBOGRIP is the haptic of the final product which is very close to rubber and the typical shiny surface of TPU will not be observed in the shoe sole. Additionally, the sole is recyclable due to thermoplastic property of TPU/REBOGRIP-mixture and it could simply substitute rubber in the circular economy.   

REBOGRIP is remarkably miscible with conventional TPUs independent of the supplier and the type of TPU.

For example REBOGRIP/TPU sole:
